Dispies are Funny
by Jamey Bennett
One of the sections of Postmillennialism.com that sadly went away a couple years ago was the "Fun Stuff" section. There, you could pick your own Antichrist and other ridiculously fun things. Those days are perilously over, but that doesn't mean we should stop having fun. Dispensationalists, sick of waiting for the ever-delayed rapture, are turning up the fun themselves. I was checking out the new VCast Spirituality section, for example, of my Verizon wireless phone. Prankster 3:16 (or something like that) is a prank show that's a knock-off of Punk'd, where people are tricked into thinking something awful happens, and it is all cleverly captured on hidden camera. Well, in this particular episode, this girl went out to a cafe with her friends, and while there received a phone call from a friend that asked her to talk in a quiet place. When she stepped out to take the call, all but two people in the cafe stripped off their clothes (they had alternate clothing underneath), and neatly laid their clothes on their chairs (Plato would be proud) and disappeared from the cafe. When she returned, she grew hysterical, as she believed she had missed the rapture! Now, that's funny. (And unbelievably cruel, considering they actually believe that stuff!)
In that spirit, here's a few fun things I pulled from Bound Dragon.
